As we left Waipio Valley and made our way up the steep road, we found ourselves in front of an old Suzuki SUV full of what I presume to be locals. Or hippies. But probably both. My father in law, while being no stranger to trucks and off road driving, made his way slowly and cautiously up the steep terrain.
The driver of the rig behind us was leaning out his window, waiving his arms and yelling something at our car. He was swerving from side to side, gesturing for us to let him pass, despite the fact there was no room to do so. When there was finally room to let his car by, Glenn pulled over to the side to let them pass.
The passenger leaned out the window and yelled,
"You're being dangerous, ASSHOLE!"
None of us knew exactly what he was talking about as they sped quickly past us. But we did laugh at their absurdity the whole way home!
